bark is very interesting, Sarah thought hypovirulence might be occurring (for
any new folks, hypovirulence involves an infection of the blight fungus by a
virus that reduces its deadliness, makes it "hypovirulent". Unfortunately
this hasn't worked large-scale in North America as a way to combat blight as our
blight is very diverse genetically, but some trees are preserved by

2 cents would be to use the 1<SUP>st</SUP> photo from the website, which shows
the tree from a good distance. In my experience it’s hardly ever
possible to get a great shot of the whole tree, but this at least shows the
tree with leaves on. Admittedly, the yellow tape isn’t the most
beautiful, but does actually help to call the tree out and makes it look like
a “working tree” (if that makes any sense!).<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
