Hello All Chestnuters,
We are planning to innoculate three lines (about 110 trees) at the
Medway orchard Saturday (the 19th ), starting about 9 am.
Anyone who can come is very welcome. It is a very easily accessible
site with beautiful trees and great opportunity to learn to innoculate.
We are hoping to have three teams with four people each. (a hole
puncher, two innoculators, and a recorder /taper. Having a
team of four makes it much faster and easier. If we do get twelve
people it should only take about three hours max. Longer of
course if fewer people can make it. Even if you cannot come for the
entire time it is fine. So far only five people have told me
they are coming for sure so we really do need more help. Water, drinks,
and Yvonne's famous goodies will be provided.
I hope to see you all, and have a fun time!
