[MassChestnutOrchards] TACF-MA Spring Board Meeting Agenda

I wonder if we could add a short piece to the agenda about a walking/hiking program in collaboration with Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester that we will be kicking off on June 19,

It's basically a "get healthy by walking" program that will feature many booths and guest speakers. We would like to have a chestnut booth, but as both Denis and I will be DCR employees that day, we would need someone to man the booth from 10 - 1.

Along with all the other great chestnut things, we would like to feature chestnuts as food. I can make some food items ahead of time, and will make up some nutrition sheets to hand out, but we'll be too busy to man the booth, or answer questions, and would love to have a volunter for the event.

Also, remember that Old Sturbridge Village has invited TACF board members to the May1 planting of chestnut trees at OSV. They are hosting an event that day, and all I need is a number of how many people would like to attend, and they will issue free passes to us for that day.

Subject: Re: [MassChestnutOrchards] TACF-MA Spring Board Meeting Agenda

Hello -

Additions to existing agenda items:

1.) Can we modify the B3F3 – Sturbridge discussion, to include the other B3F3 planting proposals?

Looking through emails, I see:

Glocester, RI – Roy
Providence, RI – Yvonne
Probably others?

2.) Possible additional seed orchard locations – can these be added to the “Seed Orchard Development” agenda item?

South Kingstown Land Trust – Yvonne
Others?

Thanks.
