Hi Kendra,
Paul Sisco had contacted Fred, and said that both Nanking lines are BC4s. We
were sending some of the extra BC(X) nuts down for Phytophthora testing, and
Paul discovered the lineages from Fred.
Does Charlotte have a complete listing of which are BC3 vs BC4? Does it
affect what seed orchard the trees' progeny would go into? E.g. Can you put
Clapper BC4F2s in the same seed orchard as Clapper BC3F2s?
Thanks, Yvonne
Emails from Paul:

East Greenwich, RI_1 x JB178 is also a Nanking BC4 family, according to
Fred Hebard.

Yvonne,
I¹m not sure what you had in your records, but this is a BC4 family of seed.
Exeter, RI x Cy483 BC4 Nanking
Thanks for helping us with this.
Paul
