Hi Yvonne -
To clarify, which lines were planted in SKLT? I have all the Nanking lines
from 2009 pollination as BC2's and BC3's in my records. The Clapper and
Graves lines you guys did last year should all be BC4's but if the Nanking
lines are also BC4 I need to talk to Fred and get an updated pollen list.

Yes, we thought they were BC3s until just last week or so, when one of the
national science staff mentioned they are BC4s. It doesn't affect our
treatment of the nuts; it's a good thing in that they are more advanced
hybrids - more "American", but they should have the same resistance
potential.
