Yes, we thought they were BC3s until just last week or so, when one of the national science staff mentioned they are BC4s.  It doesn't affect our treatment of the nuts; it's a good thing in that they are more advanced hybrids - more "American", but they should have the same resistance potential.

I guess we better revise our planting chart. We have them as Backcross 3s.
