This morning the Glocester Conservation Commission erected a sign board with the new TACF panels at its orchard on RI Route 94.

The uprights are 10 foot 4" x 6" pressure treated, sunk 30" into the ground. Standard 3/4" thick plywood sheets were used for the sign board and shed style roof. 2" x 6" boards form the header and footer, and are mortised into the uprights. The lettering is routed into the 2" x 6" boards. All is painted in "Lodge Brown", except the letters which are yellow. The panels were fastened to the sign board with stainless steel wood screws.

Not shown is a mailbox which will be mounted beside the 'Restoration Efforts' panel. The mailbox with have TACF brochures and local orchard info.
