Jim
Thanks for offering to book NEFF's room at their headquarters in Littleton for our Spring Board Meeting on Saturday April 25 from 10AM to 4PM. We had planned to use a DCR Park Site, but this conflicts with their state wide "Spruce up" day which attracts many visitors, but is not the best environment to hold a board meeting.
We plan to hold our summer Board Meeting in western MA at Brian Clark's Farm in Ashfield, or Hawley or both.
Brian, which is it??
I am interested in hearing more about Dr.Mike Clutter as a speaker for this year's annual meeting
thanks
-Jamie

Hi Jamie,
Hope all is well with you and that you are looking forward to spring and bud break. I am sick of this winter.
I got your message about possibly holding a chapter meeting at NEFF in Littleton and it can be arranged without a problem if you can give me some potential dates. I can set up the meeting room and get the coffee brewing, so let me know.
BTW, the recent article by Scott Merkle about cloning American chestnuts at the University of Geargia School of Forestry was of particular interest to me as my nephew Dr. Mike Clutter is Dean of the school and he arranged a visit to Scott's lab when I was in Athens two years ago. I called to congratulate him on the article and he tells me they have made great strides since I was there. Could be a good speaker at the next annual ACF meeting.
Just a thought
Jim
