Hi Lois,
My only comment, other than to have enjoyed your post and its
recommendations, is that Meadowview's success is not assured at the
moment. We have trees that came through the breeding program as
specified. Earlier generations of crosses appeared to have
sufficient resistance to fare well in the forest, giving us hope that
this generation will also. But we don't know yet. I still have a
lot of trepidation.
It's hard to convey this without inducing too much pessimism or too
much optimism. At this point, I am cautiously optimistic.
