[MassChestnutOrchards] Grant funding application for 2 RI irrigation pumps

Hello - at the meeting last weekend, the possibility of obtaining grant
funding from National for orchard irrigation pumps was discussed, with a
deadline of May 8th for the application.

In Rhode Island, two new recently created orchards are in need of pumps.


1.) Glocester, RI  Contact: Roy Najecki

2.) South Kingstown, RI / Master Gardeners  Contact: Rudi Hempe and
Clark Collins


Kendra, can you let us know what information is needed for each orchard?
Also, can the people who have used such pumps let us know what types
you'd recommend, etc.?
