Brad,
I'd very much like a dvd copy of Paul's talk. When you have the time please mail it to:
        J. Meiklejohn
        183 silver St.
        Granville, MA 01034

Many thanks to Gary, Frank and yourself for taping the talk.

  Hello Jim,

I have two different video tapes of Paul's lecture at our Mass Annual Meeting. If you would like, I could burn a dvd and send it to you. Thanks to Gary Jacob and Frank Howard for taping!

  Hello Jamie
No American Chestnut Seeds to offer, but I did want to contact you. Paul Sisco thought that a local paper recorded his talk of November 22, 2008. If that is the case I would appreciate the name and phone number of that individual so I could get in touch with him.

Another question. When do you see the Massachusetts Chapter of TACF producing their first BC3F3 seeds?

By the way, I thought the November Chapter meeting was very successful, with Paul Sisco's talk being the highlight of the day. I hope he can stay involved with our quest.
  Regards, Jim Wood

I don't know of any, perhaps Charlotte or Frank Howard know of some.

Hi MA Folks -

Fred Hebard and Bob Paris, scientists from TACF, are looking for American
chestnut seed for a research study (see below). Did anyone collect any
extra American seed this year that they could part with? Any contributions
would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Kendra

Kendra,

In case it wasn't clear, the primary purpose of these nuts is for a
research project at Auburn U to find a means of eliminating
Phytophthora cinnamomi infection or infestation of seedlings in
forest nurseries, so we're not spreading that fungus all over with
our seedlings.

Fred
