[MassChestnutNews] The Summer MA-TACF Board Meeting & Cookout Sunday July 20th 12:30 pm

Greetings Fellow Chestnuteers,

The Summer Board Meeting of the Mass.  Chapter of The American Chestnut
Foundation will be held 
 Sunday,  July 20th from 1pm to 4 pm  (cookout at 12:30) at Moore State
Park in Paxton,  MA .   

All members are welcome! Cookout starts at 12:30. Moore State Park is a
beautiful location and has a well-established chestnut orchard, so
members can enjoy the location and seeing our work in progress. Moore
also has lovely plantings, hiking trails and a historic stone sawmill.

 We will be having a cookout at lunchtime as a opportunity to welcome
visitors and to say goodbye to Leila Pinchot. 
Several people stepped up at the April Board meeting to bring somthing
to make the cookout happen ( food beverages salad,   a grill etc.) Let
me know who you are!!
Jamie  will bring Hamburgers and Buns. Guy will bring sausages. Yvonne
will bring portabello mushrooms for grilling & cheese.
Is there someone who will bring something like a vegie soup for those
who don't eat meat?

The Growers Meeting will precede the Board Meeting 10AM-12:30PM.

(This is a meeting covering issues specific to chestnut orchard managers
and other chestnut growers in our chapter.)
